A design concept
The concept of the interior design is “An Izakaya that you can enjoy at night of the full moon”. The interior design captures a large roof window and a large patio facing the south. During the summertime, the patio is filled with warm sunlight and the soothing breeze where you can enjoy the ice-cold drinks with some appetizers. In fall, you can enjoy drinking Sake while savoring moonlight through a skylight above the open-plan kitchen area.
The restaurant has a Tatami room designed in traditional Japanese style that is the perfect place to dine with family members. The ceiling of the dining area is filled with traditional Japanese images such as Manekineko, Japanese Kite and Daruma.

Oden
When it comes to Japanese food, probably everyone will think about Sushi or Ramen. But Oden should not be neglected when we talk about Japanese food. Oden is a traditional Japanese food that consists of several ingredients such as daikon radish, boiled egg, processed fish cake, and tofu fritters stewed in a soy-flavoured dashi broth. This Guu Davie provides many of unique Oden dishes.
The creative and innovative Oden dishes are only available at Guu Davie where customers can enjoy the sophisticated taste of Oden. The Ganmo (Ganmodoki: house-made deep-fried tofu, mixed with vegetables) and Satsumaage (house-made deep-fried fish cake, mixed with shrimp, fish, minced pork and vegetables) are the two must-try Oden dishes here. Flavours of these Oden dishes can be enhanced with an ice-cold beer in summer, and with hot-sake in winter.
Daikon & Kakuni
An awesome match of mild daikon radish and tender simmered pork belly. The savory pork belly matches well with the daikon radish that soaks up the dashi broth.
Tomato
Oden is not all about hot dishes!! This Oden serves a cold tomato with Yuzu and Kanzuri gelee.
Onion
Love mushrooms, onion and fish? If so, this is the dish for you. The whole onion is covered with simmered Shiitake mushroom and dried Japanese Anchovy.
