Announcement of the results of IWC 2018 Sake Competition

The results of the IWC 2018 Sake Competition are now live! This includes all winners as well as Trophy, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Commended awarded sakes. Congratulations to all winners. You can see all winners in IWC website.

There are 9 categories in Sake section, Junmai, Junmai Ginjo, Junmai Daiginjo, Honzojo, Ginjo, Daiginjo, Koshu(Aged Sake), Sparkling Sake and Futsu-shu, and awards include medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) and Commented from each section. And then the highest prize (Trophy) is awarded to one of the best Gold medals from each section. Champion Sake is the year’s best Sake of all chosen from all Trophy.

Sorry, these Japanese Sake don’t export to Vancouver. Please visit Japan and enjoy.
BUT, Dewanosato, that is champion Sake in 2016, is in Vancouver. It is possible to taste just a glass of it in some Japanese or Chinese restaurant. If you want to get more information, feel free to contact us.
