This great event provides good opportunities for sake lovers and sake beginners to taste various kinds of sake and get to know more about Japanese sake, history & culture!

The Breweries are visiting Vancouver for SAKE Fest Vancouver ’18. There will be 4 breweries participating in this event. From each brewery will talk about their SAKE, brewery, philosophy and the stories behind the sake.

The brewing rice, called “DEWASANSAN” was made by Yamagata prefecture and local breweries. It has a well balanced acidity and mild UMAMI of rice. You can taste a soft fruity flavour with fresh finish.

The note is a wonderful collection of fruity and floral elements from green apple and honeydew to clover honey and rose petal. Combining a mild aroma and clean finishing.

Suiten Ippeki

Suuiten Ippeki is made from well-known brewing rice “YAMADA NISHIKI” and using the pure spring water called “SHIRAGIKU SUI”.
This sake is smooth clean and dry so pair wonderfully with seafood.

Yuzu time

Ginjo-Shu + “Yuzu” Japanese citrus fruits = You’s time.
The fragrance of the citron makes you feel relaxed and enjoy a fresh feeling to the fullest. It can be enjoyed either chilled, with soda, or even warmed.
