What is Brandy Umeshu?

While ordinary umeshu is made by steeping ume fruits in clear distilled liquor, brandy umeshu is made with brandy instead of clear distilled liquor, as its name suggests.

Combining ume’s refreshing taste with Brandy’s deep flavours will result in an umeshu with a unique, multilayered taste that stands out from regular umeshu.

Recommended Ways to Enjoy

Our Picks for Brandy Glasses

Traditional brandy glasses are balloon-shaped, but we recommend using modern style brandy glasses that are slim with a round, wide rim. In particular, a glass with an hourglass-shaped curve can bring out the highlights of the brandy’s flavour while making it gentle on the palate.
