Brewed with 100% “Iwai” sake rice grown in Kyoto Prefecture, polished to 45%, this Junmai Daiginjo is bottled as genshu (undiluted) in traditional tobin-style bottles. The result is a full-bodied sake with depth and a refined, elegant finish.
“Iwai” is a Kyoto-grown sake rice, primarily used by local breweries, creating sake with fruity aromas, a fine, elegant texture, and rich, layered flavours, best enjoyed well chilled.
The box features a fusuma painting from the Grand Hall of Ninomaru Palace at Nijo Castle in Kyoto, inspired by Kyoto’s cultural heritage.
