Valentine’s Day in Japan is celebrated differently?
Valentine’s Day is a special day to celebrate love and a time to show appreciation to loved ones. In many countries, it’s a big day for people to take their loved ones for a romantic dinner while others choose this day to propose. Stereotypically, women are expected to be showered with gifts and taken out in many countries.
In Japan, Valentine’s Day is still a special day to celebrate love, however it’s the tradition for women to give chocolate to men. There are two types of chocolates that women give. One is for someone she likes, and the other is for friends and family.
How do you celebrate your Valentine’s day? With you family, friends or your special one?
